E per la serie uomini coi maroni in carbonio ad alto modulo 3 ecco a voi Peter Burling and Blair Tuke due tipini che si sono sciroppati 120 miglia in regata correndo dietro ad attrezzi tipo come circa Alfa Romeo.
La notizia da sailword: Peter Burling and Blair Tuke completed the 120nm Coastal Classic course sailing alongside the top competitors. Although Alfa Romeo was long gone, the 49er crew battled with the 50fters, leading this group at Cape Brett, but losing their lead after their second pitchpole of the trip. We present images taken from their support boat..
Peak speed was over 20kts and the 120nm trip took around nine and a half hours with four capsizes and two pitchpolings. A great effort.
120 miglia nautiche……..giusto giusto Cagliari-La Galite se non erro….mmmmmm….ogni tanto faccio pensieri folli….però con un gommone assitenza, magari non proprio su un 49er….
ok mi alleno un paio (alla sarda) d’anni e se ne riparla, ora come ora mi stroncano tre ore di fila in deriva con 10-12 nodi di vento…
